Marlins English Language Tests have been developed by both testing and subject matter experts, and have been piloted worldwide. This has contributed to the validity and reliability of the tests.
The tests are suitable for all ranks, positions and nationalities and the questions are set within the context of their industry sector. There are hundreds of questions contained within the database which are randomly selected. This ensures no two tests are the same.
Please take care when completing the online personal information before starting the test as it is not possible to correct any spelling errors or mistakes once you have started the test and your certificate has been printed out.
It is strongly advised you take the practice test before attempting the main test in order to familiarise yourself with the different types of questions.
During the test you may return to any question at any point to change your answer. You will also have the chance to return to any unanswered questions at the end of the test before finishing.
In the event of the computer crashing, power failure or loss of internet connection during the test, re-enter your license code to resume the test from where you left off. Please note, the license code will expire after 36 hours after the test has started if it has not been completed in this time.
